Former Olympic Snowboarder Ryan Wedding Wanted by FBI for Drug Trafficking

Ryan James Wedding, a former Olympic snowboarder from Canada, is wanted by the FBI. He is accused of running a major drug trafficking operation that is linked to several murders.

Investigators say Wedding’s group moved about 60 tons of cocaine each year from Colombia, through Mexico, into California, and then to Canada. They claim the group was very violent and hired killers to deal with anyone who got in their way.

Wedding faces eight serious charges, part of a larger case involving 16 people. Authorities recently announced that they seized over a ton of cocaine, several guns, about $250,000 in cash, and $3.2 million in cryptocurrency.

While 12 of the 16 people involved are in custody, Ryan Wedding is still missing. The FBI is offering a $50,000 reward for any information that leads to his arrest.

This situation shows the ongoing struggle law enforcement faces in fighting drug trafficking, especially when it involves international crime and violence.
